Mikiya

Once visited by the late literary master Naoya Shiga. Yukari Inn's wooden design is purely Japanese and features a Japanese garden.

Rooms

This long standing inn inspired the master literary Naoya Shiga's beloved novel 'Kinosaki ni te'(At Cape Kinosaki).
Traces of the early 1900's are still found in Yukari Inn's traditional Japanese design.
Let time slip by unnoticed while enjoying yourself and the view of the changing seasons in our elegant Japanese garden, in the middle of Kinosaki.
(Guests staying with us are welcome to view the room of Naoya Shiga. The literary master who was awarded the high honor of the 'Order of Culture' by the Japanese government in 1949. *On high traffic days this room is closed to viewing.)

We are a traditional inn that wishes to carry on the traditions of the honored past. We may not be fully equipped with every modern day convenience, but perhaps that is what makes us fortunate enough to provide a quiet and relaxing place for our guests to rest.

◆ Hot Spring Tour ◆
There are a total of seven public baths in the Kinosaki hot spring town, and you can enjoy unlimited baths during your stay. Mikiya is conveniently located, with four public baths within a five-minute walk, making it extremely convenient. (Gosho no Yu and Mandara Yu are a 2-minute walk from the hotel, while Kono no Yu and Ichi no Yu are a 5-minute walk away.)

This is the largest room in our hotel (106 square meters), with a rich history of welcoming His Imperial Highness Takamatsu. After a renovation in 2022, the room retains the elegant Japanese-style architecture while incorporating a modern and comfortable Western-Japanese fusion style. In the Western-style area, there are single extra-large beds (120 x 195 cm), a desk, and a bathroom featuring an Aomori cypress bathtub and a steam sauna, adorned with marble accents.

※ Please note that this room is located on the first floor.
